Veterans Appreciation Day will be held at the Roberts Memorial Center in Keosauqua from 5 to 8 pm. All veterans, family members and supports are invited. The 2nd annual Memorial Ride for the Big Creek Tractor Association starts at 8:28 am at the Menke-Hoyer Auction Building in New London and will feature a scenic ride around the area. Barnabas Memorial Day Concert
The St. Barnabas Choir presents their 32nd annual Memorial Day Concert at the Barnabas Church in Montrose. Concerts will be held at both 9 and 11 am with the title “We Remember and Honor.” Breakfast will be served from 7 to 9 am at Joppa Lodge in Montrose by freewill donation. Money raised goes towards Central Lee High School scholarships. Veterans and military personnel at the concerts have an opportunity to introduce themselves.
