    Bentonsport Quilt Show & Flea Market

    The first annual Quilt Show in Bentonsport is today from 9 am to 5 pm in the Stone House. Various quilts will be displayed and a quilt will be raffled off. A $5 admission donation includes a raffle entry and door prize entry. This is sponsored by Bentonsport Improvement Association. The Bentonsport Historic District’s annual Flea Market and Craft Show is today from 10 am to 5 pm. Handcrafted items, antiques, tools, yard art, collectibles, and more will be available for purchase. Area businesses will have artist demonstrations.

    Memorial Day Concert

    St. Barnabas Choir will present its 33rd annual Memorial Day concert in historic St. Barnabas Chapel Third and Chestnut Streets, in Montrose.

    Concerts are set for 9 a.m. and 11 a.m. The concert is titled “Unforgettable.” St. Barnabas Church is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

    Breakfast will be served from 7 to 9 a.m. at Joppa Lodge in Montrose for a freewill donation. Proceeds go toward Central Lee High School scholarships.

    Veterans and military personnel in attendance at the concerts may introduce themselves, state their branch of service and add any military-related remarks they wish to share.
