The Official Reunion Opening will be at the Grandstand at 11:40 am and the Mt. Pleasant Military Color Guard and the MPCHS Panther Marching Band will be at 11:45. The Cavalcade of Power is at noon and Country Gold will take the KILJ Stage at 8 pm. A patriotic fireworks display will follow the concert.

Today’s Forum program will be presented by Professor of English Lauri Anderson presents “Stories from Michigan’s UP” today at 11 am in the IWC Chapel. Anderson has authored eight books, mainly focusing on the people of the Upper Peninsula. He also was an original Peace Corp volunteer in Nigeria and has taught in institutions around the world. The Forum program is free and open to the public.
