The 2nd Annual Bowl-A-Thon will be held today at Iris City Bowling Alley to raise funds for the Henry County Mentoring Program/Club M. Put together a team of four people to bowl. The cost is $25 per person or $100 per team. The Bowl-A-Thon will run from 1:00 to 4:00 this afternoon. Children, families and everyone young and old are invited. Mt. Pleasant Public Library hosts Baby Lap Sit, a program for moms and babies from newborn to 17 months old. Parents and babies meet from 11:30 to 11:50 am inside the Children’s Programming Room. It’s a fun, 20 minute program that features flannel board stories, songs and fingerplays to promote literacy. The program is free, registration is not required.
