ABATE Leather Run
ABATE – A Brotherhood Aimed Toward Education – has their 28th annual Leather Run. Signup starts at 9:30 am at the Beachfront in Wever. Everyone leaves at 11 am. Cost is $5 for ABATE members, $7 for non-members. The ride will have several stops in southeast Iowa. All riders will be back by 5 pm. Entertainment will be provided by G Spot. A silent auction starts at 5 pm. Proceeds from the event will go to member Donnie Denny’s family.

SCC hosts Brazilian guitarist Dr. Guilherme Vincens at their Keokuk campus. A workshop will be held in room 301 at 4:30 pm. Guitarists can participate in a hans-on question and answer session. Then at 7:30 in the Student Lounge, Vincens performs solo and duets and students ensemble. The events are free and open to the public.
