The City of Mt. Pleasant advises motorists on two railroad crossing closures this week. North Cherry Street is closed today (Thursday) through Friday (10/2/26) for asphalt repairs. The detour is the N. Grand Avenue overpass to the east or N. Lincoln Street to the west.
The second closure is at N. Carnahan Road, which is currently closed and will remain closed through Friday for crossing panel replacement. The suggested detour is N. White Street to the east or N. Goodyear Road to Courtland to the west. Please plan extra travel time and respect all barricades and work crews. Schedules may change due to weather. The City of Mt.
