Park Place at 401 S. Van Buren Street in Mt. Pleasant is honoring 3 resident veterans with hand crafted quilts through the Quilts of Valor Foundation – made with love and stitched with appreciation. The presentation is at 2:30pm and all are invited to be a part of this special ceremony. Refreshments will be served.

The Swedesburg Evangelical Lutheran Church is hosing a Summer Garage Sale from 8am – 5pm today, and 8am – 1pm on Saturday. Stop by 201 Academy Avenue in Swedesburg where all items are 50 cents (unless otherwise marked). All proceeds go toward Social Ministry Programs.
The Theatre Museum Repertoire Americana is open today and Saturday from 10am – 4pm (closed 12-12:30pm for lunch)! The museum is dedicated to the preservation of memorabilia and artifacts of early repertoire theatre. The collection includes painted curtains and scenic pieces; costumes and equipment; playbills, show cards, advertising sheets, and so much more! The museum is located on the Old Threshers grounds at 405 Thresher Road and is open weekly Thursday – Saturday through Labor Day.

The Salem Farmer’s is open from 4:30pm – 7:30pm at the Salem square; the heart of downtown. The Farmer’s Market features local, fresh produce, crafts, and more! The Salem Farmer’s Market will be held every Friday evening through Octobesr 3rd!
