The Wayland City Wide garage and yard sales are taking place today and Saturday.

The Salem City Wide garage sales are taking place today from 8 am to 5 pm and Saturday from 8 am to 2 pm.  There won’t be any maps so watch for the signs.

Henry County Relay for Life Team No One Walks Alone is holding a garage and bake sale at the shelter house in the Salem Park during the Salem City Wide Sales. Friday hours are 8 am to 5 pm and Saturday hours are 8 am to 2 pm.  Breakfast and lunch will be available both days. Proceeds go to the American Cancer Society.

Celebrate Lee County businesses off the beaten path during the Love Lee County Tour today and Saturday from 10 am to 6 pm and Sunday from noon to 4 pm.

At 4:30 pm the Theatre Museum of Repertoire Americana at Old Threshers is holding a Grand Re-Opening and Ribbon Cutting presented by the Mount Pleasant Area Chamber Alliance.

June’s featured Artist in the Mount Pleasant Main Street Art Center is Nash Cox. He is an internationally recognized watercolor artist. His show is titled “Art of the Automobile” His reception is this evening from 5-7pm during the Car Cruise.
