U.S. Senator Chuck Grassley’s regional director will hold office hours from 9:30 – 10:30 a.m. at the Ottumwa City Hall, from 11:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. at the Bloomfield Public Library, and from 1:30 to 2:30 pm at the Keosauqua City Hall.

There is a rummage sale at the Faith Lutheran Church on Mapleleaf Drive in Mount Pleasant from noon to 6 pm and Saturday from 8 am to noon. There will be household items, clothes, books, knickknacks and a little bit of everything.  This is a fundraiser for a local family needing help with medical expenses.

Tuesday, June 28th, at 3:00 PM, Addington Place in Mount Pleasant is hosting a Senior Sip and Paint session. Join Cody Flietner, as he leads his 2nd painting lesson accompanied by wine & other beverages! They will provide the glasses, canvases, and paintbrushes as Cody guides you through the afternoon, stroke-by-stroke.  To make a reservation, please call 319-385-7227. This event is free and open to the public.

Viking Re-enactment! Swedish Musicians! Mule Wagon Rides!  Quilt Raffle! Crafts! Join us for the 30th Anniversary of the Swedish American Museum on Friday, June 17th and Saturday, June 18th when we will dance around the Majstang, honor Swedish immigrant families and celebrate our Swedish heritage.  Henry County Cattlemen will have food for purchase 11am-2pm on Saturday.
