The 4th Annual Danville Fire Department fish and chicken fry with fireworks will be held from 5 to 8 pm at 207 N. Elm Street. Call for deliveries after 4:30 pm at 319-392-8181.

The Henry County Optimist Club would appreciate additional help Monday evening to pick up flags.  Meet at 6:30 pm Monday in front of U.S. Bank.

July 4 the Mount Pleasant City offices are closed for the holiday. Garbage collection will be one day later thru the week.
