United States Representative for Iowa Mariannette Miller Meeks will host an in-person listening post at the Burlington Public Library from 10 to 11 am.

Henry County Health Center will host a community blood drive with ImpactLife, the provider of blood components for local hospitals. The blood drive will be from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm at 407 S. White St. in the HCHC Health Education Center.

The Dover  Historical Society meets  at 1:30 pm. The postponed annual meeting will be also be held and there will be a discussion of the summer program.

Aldo Leopold Intermediate School, 3075 Sunnyside Ave, Burlington, IA 5260. 11:30 a.m. – 6 p.m. tour the museum of over 20 exhibits created by Social Studies classes to celebrate the positive contributions of African Americans from both the past and present. The research done by students highlights the important works of each figure through literature, art, photography, music, and artifacts. Several living historical exhibits will be present as well. If school is canceled due to weather, the Museum will be open February 28th, from 11:30 AM – 6 PM.

Coming this weekend – Three Rivers Tractor Club’s Annual Antique Tractor Show, Friday – Feb 24th, Saturday – Feb 25th and Sunday – Feb 26th at Westland Mall in West Burlington, Iowa. Oliver brands will be the featured tractors this year.  But all brands will be represented!  Bring friends and invite your neighbors!  Let’s line the center court at the mall with enthusiasts young and old!
