Mt. Pleasant Historic Preservation Commission will continue their garage sale this week and  from 9am to 1pm both Friday & Saturday 500 W. Monroe. There will not be a salvage sale at the church, but they will have some salvage items at the garage sale.

Tri-T is holding a garage sale from 10 am to 7 pm today and Saturday 8 am to noon at 1523  235th Street west of Mount Pleasant.

This is the first day of Salem Old Settlers.  A carnival is open.  The Car Cruise Night is open from 5 to 8 pm.  A Ham and Bean Supper will be served at the Shelter House at 5 pm and Junior Talley “Elvis Tribute Artist” performs from 6 to 9 pm.

Mediapolis Town and Country Days starts today.  Patrick Noon performs at 6.  The Prince and Princess Contest is at 6:45 and the Bill Riley Talent Show is at 7.
