Mount Pleasant Area Chamber Alliance will be working with Iowa Works to host a drive-thru job fair today from 1 to 4 pm at Mapleleaf Field in Mount Pleasant.

Sweets and Treats on Sunnybrook Spooky St is today at Sunnybrook Mount Pleasant from 5 to 7 pm.  This is Covid-19 drive-thru Trick-or-Treat experience.  They will safely be passing out an assortment of goodie bags, juices, cookies, and treats for all to enjoy from the parking lot and driveway.  This event is free and open to the public!

Come to the Halloween Haunted School Oct 29 and Saturday night Oct 30 7 pm to 11 pm in the former Bonaparte Iowa elementary school. Spooks, ghosts and goblins.  Guaranteed to scare you!. Admission is $10.

The Winfield United Methodist Church Turkey Supper will be held Wednesday, November 10 from 5 -7. It will be drive through or delivery only. To reserve a meal call  319-257-6764,  319-750- 4806 or  319-759-4785 or purchase a ticket  from a UMC member by NOVEMBER 1st.
