Main Street Mount Pleasant will host a Mother’s Day Tea on Saturday, April 8th in Central Park.  Tickets are $30 for adults and $15 for children under 12.  Please RSVP by today by emailing lisa@mpiowa.org or call the office at 385-3101.

Henry County Heritage Trust Spring Cleaning Tag Sale today and Saturday from 9 am to 2 pm at the Museum in Mount Pleasant in the former Saunders School Building at 403 W Madison.  All proceeds offset museum expenses.

Junkin Sisters Shop Hop Spring Edition runs throughout southeast Iowa Friday, Saturday and Sunday.  Look for the Junkin Sisters Shop Hop Facebook page to print out a map.  There will be door prizes as well.  Shops are open today from 9 am to 5 pm.

The annual Mt. Pleasant city wide clean-up takes place the week of April 26 thru April 29. Pick-up will be done in conjunction with the city garbage days but you don’t have to utilize the city system in order to put items on the curb for the clean-up.  Just make sure you have trash stickers on your pile.
