St. John’s Harvest Festival Kick-off party will be held at the Houghton Knight’s of Columbus hall. The party will feature a shrimp boil and fish fry. The spring raffle will also be announced.
Main Street Mount Pleasant presents Saving of the Green Beer Walk. It runs from 5 to 7 pm. Start the Union Block, get your map and purchase the $5 souvenir cup there. Then go around to participating merchants for samples.
The Danville FFA Spaghetti Supper Fundraiser is from 5:30 to 7:30 pm at the Danville Community Center. They will serve spaghetti with white and red sauce, meat and meat-free options, gluten-free is available, a salad, dessert and breadstick. The meal is by freewill donation with proceeds used to support the Danville FFA. Door prizes will be drawn periodically throughout the night.
Tickets for bleacher seating at the Mt. Pleasant Dessert Theater are still available at the door for $5. Dessert isn’t included, however. The show starts at 7 pm in the High School gym. The program includes the High School Jazz bands and Show Choir.There is a Saturday night performance featuring the middle school jazz band and show choir and a Sunday performance at 2 pm, again featuring the High School Jazz Bands and Show Choir.
