Trenton Community Yard Sales are taking place from 8 am to 4 pm.  Food trucks will be there, as well.

The Mount Pleasant city compost site is open from 8 am to 5 pm on Saturdays and 1 to 6 pm on Wednesdays.  The site is located on Yocum Lane behind Saunders Park.

The Dover Museum on Main Street in New London is open from 1 to 4 pm featuring an exhibit of nearly 20 prom dresses from 1042 thru 2022.  The exhibit is free and will be open again May 28 and May 29.

WACO Commencement takes place at 7:30 pm in the High School Gym.  Please note the ceremony has been moved indoors due to the weather forecast.  There will be fireworks following graduation weather permitting.

Pat White will give a presentation on Mount Pleasant’s Old City Cemetery at 2:00 p.m. at the Henry County Heritage Center Museum 403 West Madison Street – Mount Pleasant. Learn about the history of Mount Pleasant’s oldest burial grounds and the early settlers, politicians and veterans interred there.
