The railroad tracks at  Racine Avenue east side of New London will be closed today for repairs.

The Henry County Road Department announces a road closure on 253rd Street, one mile east of Franklin Avenue for crossroad culvert replacement. The road closure begins June 21 at 7 am and will last for about one week.

The Henry County Road Department announces construction work on Iowa Avenue south of Mt. Pleasant. Portable traffic signals will be utilized as traffic will be limited to one lane. Please travel this area with caution.

Those who ordered peaches from Youth for Christ can pick them up in Ft. Madison at the Farmers Market from 4 to 6 pm. There will also be opportunities for pick up June 22 from 3 to 7 pm at the Mount Pleasant Christian School and at the Keokuk HyVee. Pick up in Columbus Junction is June 23 at the Youth Center.
