The 4H Sharp Shooters club will be selling sweet corn this morning beginning at 9 am at the E3 Center, East Washington in Mount Pleasant until they run out. $6/dozen.

The Van Buren County Fair wraps up with the presentation of the Marcie Carr Memorial Award at 4 pm, the Farm Bureau meal at 5:30 pm and the Livestock Sale at 7 pm.

Winfield First Presbyterian Church Vacation Bible School for preschool thru 5th grade students. Supper is at 5:30 and the bible school will be held from 6 to 8 pm.  There will be a parents program July 29 at 7 pm.

The Bonaparte United Church is hosting vacation bible school thru Thursday at 5 pm at the former Bonaparte elementary school.  Thursday night there will be a program for the families at 6:30 pm.

Construction work on 170th Street east of Trenton in Henry County will beginning this morning. Portable traffic signals will be utilized, as traffic will be limited to one lane. Please travel this area with caution.
