The Mt. Pleasant Farmer’s Market features fresh produce, baked goods and much more: open 8:30am – 11:00am  in the Northeast corner of the Walmart parking lot.  The Mt. Pleasant Farmer’s Market also open on Wednesdays 4:00pm – 6:00pm.

The Children’s Discovery Center at the Mt. Pleasant Public Library is open today from 10:00am – 12:00pm!  The Discovery Center is geared toward younger children, there is something to “discover” for all ages!

Henry County Heritage Trust Presents: Garretson Family Heritage Farm with Joel Garretson at 2:00pm.  This event is free, refreshments are provided, and is being held at the Henry  County Heritage Center Museum, 403 W. Madison St. in Mt. Pleasant.  Joel is a descendant of the original owner and resides at the farm which was established in 1837.  He will share some history and stories about his family members.  Donations are welcome.

Come to a free workshop  for Alzheimer’s and Dementia Caregivers at the Danville Library from 10:30am – 11:30am! The session is designed for unpaid/family and paid caregivers and will share updated research findings. Additionally, attendees can receive a 1-Hour Professional Development Certificate.
