The New London Lion’s Club is hosting their RED BARN BREAKFAST fundraiser from 7:00am – 11:00am at the Masonic Lodge, 206 N. Main Street in Mt. Pleasant! The $12 breakfast includes: Biscuits & Gravy, Scrambled Eggs, Sausage, Hash Browns and drinks! Carry out is available!
Salem Old Settlers 2024 continues today! Crafts booths will be set up in the park and food trucks are available today: Dole Whip, The Food Boss, Sweet P’s Concession & Wilson Brothers! These are today’s events:

Chapter EV of P.E.O. will have Fall Mums for Sale in the Elliott Chapel parking lot in New London on Saturday, August 24 8:30-noon while supplies last. Single colors are $20 and pots of multi colors are $25. These are large plants with many buds in 9 inch pots. Proceeds go to fund scholarships and grants to help further the education of women.
Henry County Heritage Trust presents Native American Artifacts with Denny White at 2pm. Denny White will exhibit a portion of his extensive, personal collection at the Henry County Heritage Center Museum, 403 W. Madison Street in Mt. Pleasant.
