Save the Bridge Disc Golf Tournament at Oakland Mills with registration from 7:30am – 9am: Tee Off at 9:30am.  Lunch is available at LULU’s Landing for a free will donation!  $10/person, $20/team, $5/child under age 16.

The Henry County Conservation Nature Center is open from 9am – 12pm and is located at Oakland Mills, south of Mt. Pleasant.

The Henry County Heritage Trust presents “Henry County Confederates” at 2pm, 203 N. White Street.  Humanities Iowa Speaker David Connon will present.  The Heritage Center Museum is also open from 1pm – 4pm.

Live Music by “Restore The Broken” from 4pm – 6pm at Eagle Lake Camp, 380 W. Main Street in Lockridge.  Bring your chair or blanket, food will be served from 4-6pm with music starting at 6!

The 2nd Annual Matt Stutzman Rod & Custom Classic in Brighton during Whoopee Days is from 8am – 3pm! Register your car, truck, motorcycle by going to the website below. A Midsummer Celebration is planned at Parrish Hall, 201 Academy Ave. in Swedesburg. The Processional starts at 6:00 p.m. with the honored August Sanford Johnson family, dancing around the maypole, and folk music by the Lower Iowa Nordic Ensemble. An Ice cream social will follow and all are welcome!
