The Mt. Pleasant compost site is open from 8 am to 5 pm.  The site is located behind Saunders Park.

The Mount Pleasant Farmers Market will be held from 8:30 am to 11 am at McMillan Park in Wright Pavilion.

A full day of fun in Winfield kicks off at 7 am with the pancake breakfast, the parade is at 11 am and the day ends with a family movie and street dance.  In between there are lots of activities.  See the Winfield Crook Creek Days Facebook page for details.

Join the fun during the Friends of Geode Fun Day at Geode State Park from 10 am to 3 pm. There will be food trucks, a kayak event, fundraising auction and Friends of Geode merchandise will be available.  Kayaks and canoes are welcome.  It will be fun for all ages sponsored by the Danville Lions Club.

The 4th Annual Trenton Angels Car Show will be held in Trenton from 11 am to 5 pm.  There will be food, drinks and prizes. Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church will have beefburgers and Wilson’s BBQ will be there. There will be music with D.J.Ken Michaels. There will also be a reunion with some of the original Trenton Angels.

Main Street Mount Pleasant hosts Farm to Table Dinner.

The City of Hillsboro will have its annual picnic starting at 4 pm and going into the night. There will be a cookout – a free-will donation meal, a silent auction, and games in the Hillsboro City Park!

The First Presbyterian Church in Winfield will be hosting a  Pancake Breakfast along with sausage and fruit cups from 7-10 a.m.
