The lily tour at 1015  250th Street, rural Lockridge has been cancelled due to the extreme heat.

Join the New London Wrestling Boosters for Rockin’ for Wrestling on Main Street in New London! Car show from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m., auction at the community center at noon, Bags Tournament beginning at 3 p.m., and Lee Henry Road will play from 8 p.m. to midnight. Fullsmoke BBQ Food Truck will be serving food and Woobies will be serving drinks.

The Mount  Pleasant compost site is open Wednesdays  from 1 pm to 6 pm and Saturdays and Saturday from 8 am to 5 pm.  The site is located behind Saunders Park at the intersection of Hoaglin Drive and Yocum Lane.

Mount Pleasant Farmers Market at McMillan Park under the Pavilion from 8:30 am to 11 am.
