Holiday gatherings are the perfect way to get in the spirit of the season. Addington Place of Mount Pleasant’s “Memoirs of an Evergreen” virtual event is no exception! Join us for our 4th annual festive celebration featuring wreath and tree displays brought to you by local businesses and talents in the area! These festive pieces will be auctioned off virtually on our Facebook Page and all proceeds will benefit the Alzheimer’s Association! This is the first Saturday of the Mount Pleasant Winter Market. It will be held at the Mount Pleasant Moose Lodge, on Saunders Street on the West edge of Mount Pleasant from 9 am to noon. The other market dates are November 26, December 3 and December 10.

Help to Others (H2O) Holiday Craft and Vendor show 9-1 in Manning Hall at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church, 607 S. Jackson Street, Mount Pleasant. Lots of vendors with a large variety of great Christmas gifts to choose from! Luncheon includes cinnamon rolls, hot turkey dressing sandwhiches, hot chicken sandwiches, thick and delicious soups, chili, and bread pudding with hot butter sauce.

Mount Pleasant Festival of Lights Fun Run/Walk thru the Old Threshers campground from 5:30 to 8 pm.  $5 per person. Kids 4 and under are free. No vehicles allowed until November 23.

A free workshop for those experiencing grief, or helping others with their journey. The workshop will end with a soup lunch. Based on the book Tear Soup: A Recipe for Healing After Loss in the Burlington Public Library, Classroom A beginning at 10 a.m. This workshop is open to the public. Registration is required.
