The Lockridge Veterans Association and the City of Lockridge will host a brief Veterans Day Celebration.  The will not be a service at the cemetery.  At 8:30 am the public is invited to meet at the community center for fellowship, coffee, tea, juice and pastries.  There will then be a program at 9 am.  (attn. whoever reads this for reminders..the date for this is correct. TRose)

The public is invited to a Feather Party at the Mount Pleasant Veterans Hall. There will be food served from 5 to 7 pm. Raffle tickets are $2 per ticket. Win turkeys, hams and bacon.  There is also grand prize of a 65 inch tv.  Rod Rider will provide music for listening and dancing.

Mount Pleasant High School Drama Department presents, “A Doll’s House” at 7 pm in the Heatilator Center in the Mount Pleasant Public Library Civic Center where City Hall is also located.  There is a performance at 2 pm November 13.

The New London High School fall play, A Family Reunion To Die For, will be presented at 2 pm and 7 pm.
