Relay for Life Team No One Walks Alone invites everyone to the annual Holiday Gift and Bake Sale from 8 am to 3 pm at the Salem Community Center. In addition to the crafts, gift baskets and baked goods there will be a soup lunch and door prizes.

Santa is coming to Wayland.  The jolly fat man will be at the Wayland City Hall from 2 to 5 pm.  there will also be horse drawn wagon rides, a coloring contest, a raffle, silent auction, refreshments and more. There is a $2 admission per person or purchase a family package for $15. this event is hosted by the WACO PTO.

The Mt.Union Fire Department will hold its’ Annual Fall Dinner from 4:30 to 7:30 pm at the Fire Station on Crew Street. Serving turkey, ham, dressing, mashed potatoes and gravy, corn and rolls with lots of desserts.  There will also be a drive-up option. Don’t forget the chance to win door prizes and there’s also a raffle.

New London V.F.W. Post 7641 Catfish & Chicken Dinner 5:00-7:00 p.m. Dinner Includes: Roll & Choice of 2 Sides…french fries, bake beans and/or coleslaw.

Mt. Pleasant Veterans Hall is hosting a Feather Party.  Food will be served from 5 to 7 pm.  The raffle starts at 7:30 pm.  Over 150 prizes. Tickets are $2 each.  Everyone is welcome.

The Winfield First Presbyterian Church  will be hosting the Hemsworth family in music  and testimony at 6:30 p.m.  The family has sung in many venues over the years and has entertained in the Old Threshers family tent.   Following their concert, refreshments will be served.

The Mount Pleasant High School Drama Department presents the play, Charley’s Aunt, at 7 pm on the Heatilator stage. Tickets are $5.00 at the door.

The third annual Bonaparte Music Bonanza features a night of musical entertainment from musicians and vocalist from throughout the Tri-State area. It will be held in the gymnasium of the former Bonaparte school building; 602 8th Street in Bonaparte starting at 7 pm. A variety of genres will be sung/performed. A soup supper will be held prior to the show with a free will offering. Advance tickets are $10 for age 5 to adult and may be reserved by calling 319-561-0992, there will not be reserved seating.  Tickets will be $15.00 at the door.
