The Mount Pleasant High School presents the spring musical, “The Wedding Singer” at 2 pm at the Heatilator Center.

The Southeast Iowa Symphony Orchestra performs at 2 pm at the Capital Theater in Burlington and again at 6:30 pm in the Chapel Auditorium on the Iowa Wesleyan University campus in Mount Pleasant.

The Yarmouth Fire Department is holding a soup supper at the Yarmouth School Gym. Serving chili or oyster soup from 4 to 8 pm.  There will also be sandwiches, ice tea, lemonade, coffee and dessert.  Sign up for door prizes and there will be a pie auction and raffle.
