The 2022 Pleasant Point Cemetery Association Annual Meeting is scheduled for 1:30 p.m. This meeting is open to the public and will be held at the Pleasant Point Church located across from the Pleasant Point Cemetery in Mt. Pleasant.

The City of Mount Pleasant will hold annual Spring Clean Up during the week of April 25, 2022 – April 28, 2022. Spring Clean Up is a one-week opportunity for residents of Mount Pleasant to rid your home of those unusual or large items that are too big to fit into a garbage bag for your regular garbage collection day. The collection work is done by WEMIGA WASTE. Spring Clean Up will be picked up on the normal garbage day for your neighborhood.

The Southeast Iowa Symphony Orchestra presents the final concerts for this season in the Masterworks Series.  Sunday concerts are at 2 pm at the Bridge View Center in Ottumwa and at 6:30 pm in the Iowa Wesleyan University Chapel.
