MPCPTA Family Fun Pool Party at the Mt. Pleasant Family Aquatic Center. Pool hours are 1:00-7:00 p.m. Open to elementary students (including kindergarten adn new 6th graders) who are enrolled in the Mt. Pleasant School District and their families. This event is FREE for attendees.

This is the final day of Crooked Creek Days in Winfield. The Historical Society is serving breakfast from 8 am to 10 am at the Vets Building. There is a community wide church service at 10 am at the Winfield Methodist Church.  The museum is open from 10 am to 2 pm and the softball tournament starts at 11 am.  The puzzle escape room is open from 11 am to 3 pm at city hall. The JR Hewitt Memorial Car Show is from 11 am t 2 pm and the Car Bass Shows are from 11 am to 4 pm at the Shelman Trucking parking lot.

Meshelle Ledbetter Thompson invites family and friends to a gathering at the Saunders Park Log Cabin at 4 pm.

The First United Methodist Church in Mount Pleasant is holding Vacation Bible School from 5 to 7 pm beginning this evening and running thru August 11.  Each night will start with a meal, followed by music, bible stories, science, crafts and fun.  August 11 is Family Night.
