The Mount Pleasant High School Drama Department presents the fall play, “Charley’s Aunt” at 2 pm at the Heatilator Center. Admission is $5 at the door.

The Salem Friends Church invites everyone to a potluck supper at 6 pm followed by a gospel concert at 7 pm featuring bluegrass musicians Annie Savage and Greg Blake.  A free will donation would be welcome.

The Southeast Iowa Band has their fall concert today at 3 pm in the Chapel Auditorium on the Iowa Wesleyan University campus.  The band is comprised of students and faculty of Iowa Wesleyan University as well as community members from throughout the region.  The band is directed by Robert McConnell and Dr. Michael Knight, Director of Bands at IW.  Admission is free.
