There is a book fair taking place at Harlan Elementary School in Mount Pleasant  from 8:30 am to 7 pm and Friday 8:30 am to noon.

St. Alphonsus Ladies of Charity rummage sale today and Friday from 9 am to 5 pm in Manning Hall on South Jackson Street in Mount Pleasant. The sale will also be held Saturday from 9 am to noon.  Everything is 50 cents unless marked otherwise.

National Day of Prayer celebration in Central Park in Mount Pleasant at noon. Gather at the fountain to participate, ALL ARE WELCOME!

There will be a reception at the Mount Pleasant Main Street Art Center for the May exhibit, “Monumental Impressions” by  Jane Elizabeth Shank.  The reception will be held from 5 to 7 pm.  The address is 106 S. Main Street. This exhibit will be in the gallery for the entire month of May.
