KILJ AM & FM will host a candidates forum at 5:30 pm. The candidates for Iowa House District 87, Mike Heaton and Jeff Shipley, will discuss the issues with Kadie Johannson and Theresa Rose.

The Thrashers House of Terror is open from 6:30 to 10 pm at McMillan Park in Mount Pleasant. Friday and Saturday hours are 6 pm to midnight. Cost is $10 per person.  A fast pass is $20.

Mount Pleasant Community School District 5th grade band “Informance” at 7 pm at the High School.
