This is the deadline to register for the “Women Managing Farm Finances” course that begins March 23 at the Des Moines County Extension office.  Online information and registration is available at go.iastate.edu.

The Spring Hike A Park series kicks off again with a hike at 3 pm today thru Starr’s Cave Park and Preserve in Des Moines County.  The hike begins at the shelter by the nature center. It will be about 3 miles.  No fee or registration is required.

The Mount Pleasant 5th thru 8th grade band concert will be held at the Mount Pleasant High School at 7 pm.

March 18 St. Alphonsus Trivia Night begins with walking tacos served at 6 pm followed by trivia at 7 pm in Manning Hall on South Jackson Street in Mount Pleasant.  Cost is $15 per person and $120 for a table. Call the church office to register at 319-385-8410.
