There is another Hike A Park event at 3 pm at Shimek Forest in Lee County.  Meet at 3 pm in the Black Oak Lake parking lot.  This is free and no registration is required.  A park naturalist will lead the hike that is between one and four miles.  You may leave the hike at any time.

Olson Powell Memorial Chapel presents a “Recipe for Healing.” This is a free two part workshop that will provide a better understanding of grief, provide suggestions for navigating your own grief and tools to help others who may be grieving.  This will be held tonight and April 20 from 5:30 to 6:30 pm at Olson Powell Memorial Chapel, 709 E. Mapleleaf Drive in Mount Pleasant.
