The Henry County Health Center Foundation is sponsoring a shoe sale fundraiser from 11 am to 7 pm in the HCHC Health Education Center. Brown’s Shoe Fit will be on hand with their portable racks filled with a variety of comfortable shoes, sandals and other footwear.

Addington Place Lunch For A Cause will benefit Help To Others.  Lunch is available for purchase from 11:30 am to 1 pm.  The menu includes a grilled hamburger with lettuce, tomato and pickle, potato salad, resident-made fruit salad and a freshly baked chocolate chip cookie for carry out or delivery. The walking track in Ruble Arena will close permanently to the public on May 26.

Mount Pleasant City offices will be closed Monday, May 29, in observance of Memorial Day. Garbage collection will be one day later next week.
