BACK TO SCHOOL HEALTH FAIR, sponsored by Henry County Public Health will be held from 4:00pm – 7:00pm today in Manning Hall, at St. Alphonsus Church, 607 S. Jackson Street in Mt. Pleasant.  Check off all your student’s back to school health needs in one night; plus, enjoy community resource tables, kids activities, and giveaways!

• Immunizations (required for K, 7th & 12th graders)
• Dental Screening (required for K & 9th graders)
• Vision Screening (required for K & 3rd graders)
• Lead Testing (required for Kindergarten)
• Sports Physicals available for $25/cash only

Just a reminder, the First United Methodist Church’s Vacation Bible School “Carnival for Jesus” for 3-year-olds to incoming 6th graders  today until August 14 from 5-7pm  at the FUMC in Mount Pleasant. If you registered your child, don’t forget to join the fun!

Swedesburg Parish Hall is hosting a meal and ice cream social at 5pm at the Swedesburg Parish Hall. The menu includes hamburgers, hot dogs, chips, baked beans, and some homemade ice cream. Free will donations are accepted.

It’s always Taco Tuesday at The Moose Lodge. Serving tacos, walking tacos & taco salads from 5:00 – 7:00. Toppings include cheese, lettuce, sour creme, salsa, Jalapenos peppers, onions, tomatoes, chips on walking tacos & then for another $1 you can have extra meat. You select what you want.
