The Henry County Citizens Convenience Center on West Washington Street in Mount Pleasant re-opens for a new expanded schedule. It will be open from now on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from noon to 6 pm, Friday from 8 am to 6 pm and Saturday from 8 am to noon. There will no longer be satellite collection sites four days a week.

Taco Tuesday at the Mount Pleasant Christian School will be held from 5 to 6:30 pm serving beef or chicken tacos, walking tacos, super nachos, chips and salsa, pop and water.  There is also a black bean vegetarian option. Dine in or order to go at 385-8613. The school is located at 1505 East Washington Street.

The Salem Elementary School kindergarten thru 5th grade concert will be held at the Van Allen gym at 7 pm.
