215th Street between 220th St and Logan Ave in Henry County will be closed during the day for road construction starting today and continuing for a week, weather permitting. 215th Street will be open at night.

The First Presbyterian Church in Mount Pleasant will host International Peacemaker, Carmen Anzora. She will give a program at 4:30 pm followed by a potluck dinner.

The Mount Pleasant Moose Lodge, at 108 N. Saunders Street, serves tacos every Tuesday from 5 to 7 pm.

The Mount Pleasant Christian School is serving tacos and walking tacos from 5 to 6:30 pm. Dine in or carry out.  Call 319-385-8613 for pickup.
