This is the deadline to register for a date and time for the Oakland Mills Nature Center Escape Room.  The theme is the Wild Wild West. $48 per team. Register at mycountyparks.com. Proceeds will go directly to the Henry County Conservation Department live animal fund.

The Henry County Soil & Water Conservation District Commissioners will hold their monthly meeting  at 3.30.  This meeting will be held at 709 S. Iris Street, Mt Pleasant in the USDA building.  If you need special accommodations call the office. Tentative agenda items  include approve minutes, watershed reports, cover crop  & cost share payments  and other district business.

St. Michael’s Episcopal Church, 202 E. Washington in Mt. Pleasant, will host the annual spaghetti dinner in the lower level of the church from 4:30 to 7 pm.  A free will donation will be asked for spaghetti, salad, bread and dessert.

The Mount Pleasant Moose Lodge, at 108 N. Saunders Street, serves tacos every Tuesday from 5 to 7 pm.

The Mount Pleasant Christian School is serving tacos and walking tacos from 5 to 6:30 pm. Dine in or carry out.  Call 319-385-8613 for pickup.

A note for Wednesday…There is a free will donation breakfast for all Veterans & their families at The Moose Lodge on Wed, Oct 26th from 8:30- 11:00. There will be an informational speaker for the Veterans after the breakfast. The Moose Lodge is located at 108 N Saunders Avenue. And, the Mt. Pleasant Moose Lodge is holding a hat, mittens, gloves, socks & underwear drive for elementary aged & day care aged children from now until November 12th. There is a box located inside the Moose Lodge located at 108 N Saunders Ave. Open hours are Tuesday – Saturday 4:00 – 8:00.
