November 8  Election Day. Henry County polls are open from 7 am to 8 pm. KILJ and Two Rivers Bank will have results from the midterm voting.

The Moose Lodge of Mount Pleasant, 108 N. Saunders Street, serves tacos on Tuesday nights from 5 to 7 pm.

The Mount Pleasant Christian School hosts Taco Tuesday from 5 to 6:30 pm. Dine-in or to-go. Serving 10 inch soft shell beef or chicken tacos and walking tacos.  Chips and homemade salsa are available too.
