BROWN BAG LECTURE SERIES – THE HERBERT HOOVER FAMILY’S IOWA HOMECOMING. Paul Juhl (author, historian, and member of the Friends of Harlan-Lincoln House Executive Committee) will give a presentation on the homecoming of the family of Herbert Hoover following Hoover’s term as President of the United States. This event is free and open to the public.

The annual Des Moines County 4-H Community Dinner and Live Auction from 5 p.m. – 8 p.m. Tickets to the dinner are $15.00 for adults and $5.00 for school age children. A table for 10 can also be reserved for $175.00. Tickets can be purchased by emailing Mary at steffene@iastate.edu or by calling the Des Moines County Extension Office at 319-671-7165.
