BROWN BAG LECTURE SERIES – THE COLORS OF THE 19TH IOWA INFANTRY REGIMENT. 12-1 p.m. Learn about the colors of Company C of the 19th Iowa Infantry Regiment, the role of the color guard, their involvement in the Battle of Prairie Grove and the experimental archaeology work involved in remaking Company C’s colors and flagstaff. This event is free and open to the public. Howe Student Activity Center, Social Hall, Iowa Wesleyan University.

The Mount Pleasant Moose Lodge serves tacos every Tuesday from 5 to 7 pm. The Lodge is located at 108 North Saunders Street.
