Miss Amy with the Family Connection of Henry and Washington Counties will be hosting Parent and Play Group on Tuesday morning at 10:00 a.m. at the Henry County Extension office in the basement. This is a great opportunity to meet other parents in the area and tire out the kids before their nap!

Taco Tuesday at the Mount Pleasant Christian School, 1505 E Washington St, Mt Pleasant! Serving from 5:00-6:30 pm. The menu is the same as last year.  10″ tacos (beef or chicken),  super nachos, walking tacos, chips and homemade salsa, pop and water. 9th-12th students and parents will be serving. It is a fundraiser for a high school trip to Branson in October.

At the Park: Wine Walk in the Woods tonight from 5-7 p.m. at the Oakland Mills Nature Center. Enjoy the great outdoors as you stroll through Oakland Mills on the park’s interior road. Sip some wine and browse local vendors, wineries, businesses, and so much more! Check in at the shelter house in front of the Nature Center.

Mom Cafe: We would like to invite all moms to join us for a monthly gathering during which we eat delicious treats, discuss the ups and downs of motherhood with other moms, learn valuable ideas for our families and share from our hearts with one another. Starting on September 12, we will meet on the second Tuesday evening of every month from 6 until 7:30pm at Saint Alphonsus Catholic Church in Mount Pleasant. At this time, we do not provide childcare. Even if you can’t join our in-person gatherings, feel free to connect to our Facebook page (Mom Cafe) where we often post local events that are fun for the entire family.
