The Mt. Pleasant Municipal Utilities will be closed from 8:30 am to 1:30 pm for regulatory training.  In case of an emergency call 319-385-2121.

The Henry County Health Center Foundation is holding a Shoe Sale Fundraiser from 11 am to 6 pm in the HCHC Health Education Center.  Brown’s Shoe Fit will be there will racks filled with a variety of shoes, sandals and other footwear.  The sale is open to the public. Cash, checks and credit cards are accepted.

Taco Tuesday at the Mount Pleasant Moose Lodge 5 to 7  pm. Includes tacos, taco salad and walking tacos. $6 each. Dine in or to go.

This is the last Mt. Pleasant Christian School Taco Tuesday for the school year.Carry out and dine-in options are both still available The meal includes a taco, chips, fresh salsa and a drink. The price of a meal deal is $7.00. The taco alone is $6.50. Walking tacos are $5.00 meal, with a drink. There are also taco burger meals that are $6.00! Serving 5 to 6:30 pm at the school on West Washington Street. The last Taco Tuesday of this school year will be May 4.
