The Mt. Pleasant Farmer’s Market features fresh produce, baked goods and much more: open 4:00pm – 6:00pm  under the Wright Family Pavilion in McMillian Park.  The Mt. Pleasant Farmer’s Market also open on Saturdays 8:30am – 11:00am.

Learn to shoot at Des Moines County Conservation’s free Shooting Safety and Basics event from 5:30pm – 7:30pm at the Big Hollow Shooting Range. Participants will have a quick safety briefing followed by the opportunity to learn about BB guns, rifles, and shotguns hands-on. Register at 319-753-5808 and request a ride from Starr’s Cave Nature Center if you need one.

The West Liberty Area Arts Council Summer Music Program continues tonight!  Enjoy music in West Liberty’s charming Ron-de-Voo Park with Streamline Deluxe playing Jet-Age Country!  The Concert in the Park is from 6:3pm – 9pm every Wednesday during the month of August and is free and open to the public.  Remember to stop by the West Liberty Farmer’s Market from 4p-7p.
