Henry County’s Iowa State University Extension and Outreach is hosting a farmland leasing meeting at NOON today at the ISU Extension office, 127 North Main Street in Mt. Pleasant.  This annual meeting will address questions that landowners, tenants, or other interested people may have about leasing farmland.  Pre-registration is encouraged by calling 319-385-8126 or email: kbrinck@iastate.edu.

U.S. Senator Joni Ernst will be at the Fellowship Cup in Mt. Pleasant serving lunch today.  This event is open to the public and Senator Ernst will be there starting at 11:45am.

The Henry Co Historic Preservation Commission will hold its monthly meeting on Wednesday August 21 at the Henry Co Heritage Trust Museum starting at 1:00 PM.  The public is invited to attend.

The Mt. Pleasant Farmer’s Market features fresh produce, baked goods and much more: open 4:00pm – 6:00pm in the Northeast corner of the Walmart parking lot.  The Mt. Pleasant Farmer’s Market also open on Saturdays 8:30am – 11:00am.

The West Liberty Area Arts Council Summer Music Program continues tonight!  Enjoy music in West Liberty’s charming Ron-de-Voo Park with Libertad Oeste playing Latin Music!  The Concert in the Park is from 6:3pm – 9pm every Wednesday during the month of August and is free and open to the public.  Remember to stop by the West Liberty Farmer’s Market from 4p-7p.
