The Mt. Pleasant Farmer’s Market is open from 4pm – 6pm under the Wright Family at McMillan Park!  Featuring local produce, baked goods, and more!  The Farmer’s Market is also open on Saturday mornings from 8:30am – 11am.

Mount Pleasant will host the 26^th annual Great Eastern Iowa Tractorcade, through Wednesday, June 11th. which will be leading caravans of 300-500 tractors through Henry, Des Moines, and other surrounding counties.  Each day’s ride will begin and end at the Old Threshers Reunion grounds south of Mt. Pleasant.

• Today, the caravan will make its way through Henry and Des Moines County, with Yarmouth serving as the ride’s pit stop location for the day.

The Mount Pleasant City Compost site is open Wednesdays from 1 pm to 6 pm and on Saturdays from 8 am to 5 pm. The site is located behind Saunders Park at the intersection of Yocum Lane and Hoaglin Drive.
