The 500 block of S. Jefferson St. in Mount Pleasant will be closed for most of the day for water service hook-up.

Warner Engineering will be in the Process of Smoking Sewers starting today in the Saunders Park area. This will be going on over the next couple of weeks as it works out.

The Mount Pleasant compost site is open on Wednesdays from 1 to 6 pm.  The site is located behind Saunders Park at the west end of Yocum Lane.

The Mount Pleasant Farmers Market will be held from 4 pm to 6 pm in the Orschelan parking lot on North Grand Avenue. Please note this change is in affect until September 10 when the Market returns to McMillan Park after Old Threshers.

VFW post 7641 in New London begins the taco season tonight! They serve tacos from 5-7 pm every Wednesday September-May. Cost is $6 per taco.
