New London Homecoming Week continues.  Wednesday is Adam Sandler Day at the High School and Middle School and it’s Neon Day at Clark Elementary. The Boom Night parade starts at 6:30 pm and follows the traditional route.  Festivities will be held at the football field and will include the Little Cheer Camp performance at 7:30 pm followed by the introduction of the King and Queen candidates and their parents.  The Boys volleyball game starts at 8:05 pm followed by the powder puff game at 8:30 pm.

The Mount Pleasant compost site is open on Wednesdays from 1 to 6 pm.  The site is located behind Saunders Park at the west end of Yocum Lane.

The Mount Pleasant Farmers Market will be held from 4 to 6 pm at McMillan Park in Wright Pavilion.
