In 2022 Gov. Kim Reynolds proclaimed March 8 annually as Utility Workers Appreciation Day in recognition of the critical work utility workers do 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Old Threshers will host Alive After Five at 5 pm at the Temple Theater in Mount Pleasant.  The Association will announce the County Music line-up on the KILJ Stage for this year.

The Mount Pleasant City Council meets at 5:30 pm at the Public Library Civic Center in the council chambers on the second floor.

The Henry County Conservation Board holds its’ March meeting at 5:30 pm in the board meeting room at the office in Oakland Mills.

The Winfield Mt.Union School Board meets in regular session in the school library at 6 pm.
